Employment Hero is looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer (ReactJS) to join our HR tech platform team. You will develop new product lines with critical features and enhance existing ones, while contributing to technical strategy and collaborating closely with your squad.
What You'll Do
- Develop new product lines and critical features using ReactJS and React Native within an AWS Cloud environment leveraging EC2 and Kubernetes.
- Provide input into technical strategy with your squad, including participation in sprint planning.
- Develop frontend code as an end-to-end Frontend Software Development Engineer.
- Ensure high-quality code through testing and code reviews for yourself and colleagues.
- Share knowledge with your squad and mentor junior developers.
- Enhance legacy features for our award-winning HR tech platform.
What We're Looking For
- Over 1 year of experience in Frontend Software Development.
- Experience with CI/CD, web application performance tuning, and building ReactJS/Redux applications.
- Deep fundamental understanding of Javascript/Typescript, ReactJS/Redux, and building tools like Webpack, Rollup, and ViteJS.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated experience implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
- Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology.
- Experience translating design wireframes into functioning UI components.
- You are a team player who puts colleagues first, with a highly adaptable and versatile approach.
