yfood Labs GmbH is hiring a Junior Demand Planner (w/m/d) to join our Sales & Operations Planning team in Munich. You will be instrumental in understanding, planning, and forecasting product demand, enabling smart decisions across production, logistics, and inventory. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales & Operations Planning Lead and collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Support the creation and maintenance of sales forecasts based on sales data, promotional activity, and market developments.
- Analyze past promotional campaigns and evaluate their success using metrics like sell-through numbers.
- Plan future promotional actions and monitor their progress and impact.
- Create reports on inventory levels and demand development, monitor forecast KPIs, and contribute to improving planning processes and tools.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Fulfillment, and Purchasing teams.
What We're Looking For
- You work in a structured manner, think analytically, and are curious about data-driven insights.
- You have a strong desire to develop professionally and learn new tools and methods.
- You enjoy working independently while actively contributing to team success.
- You possess fluent German and English language skills (C1 level) in both speech and writing.
Nice to Have
- First practical experience in purchasing, demand planning, supply chain, or controlling, such as through an internship.
- Comfort working with Excel; knowledge of BI tools, Netsuite, or planning systems is a bonus.

You will be part of the S&OP team within a company of 51-200 employees. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Fulfillment, and Purchasing departments, and you will report directly to the Sales & Operations Planning Lead.
