ABBYY is hiring a Junior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver small-scale backend functionality and resolve bugs with direction from senior team members
  • Produce readable, sustainable code using C# with .NET or Node.js combined with TypeScript
  • Engage in code review processes to absorb best practices and slowly assume review duties
  • Acquire experience in building and managing applications with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Gain practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure via guided work on AWS and Azure platforms
  • Explore serverless architectures and edge computing through Cloudflare Workers
  • Take part in agile workflows such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings
  • Provide clear updates on task status and promptly communicate any obstacles
  • Support the team by enhancing documentation, internal utilities, and automated testing
