Uptech is looking for a Junior Back End Developer to build products from initial concept to MVP and subsequent development. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to solve problems and implement effective technical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop products from idea to MVP and beyond.
- Interact with designers, product managers, and engineers to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Write high-quality code within acceptable timeframes.
- Perform code reviews.
- Work on cloud infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of commercial experience in Back End development.
- Experience with Node.js (Typescript) and a framework in its ecosystem (preferably Nest.js).
- Basic understanding of system design and architectural approaches.
- Experience with SQL databases (preferably Postgres).
- Product-oriented thinking: proactive and pragmatic in technical decisions.
- Ability to express opinions to technical and non-technical specialists.
- Upper intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Terraform.
- Experience with a Cloud Platform (preferably AWS).
- Experience with DynamoDB.
- Any public activity (presentations, articles, open source contributions).
