General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a Junior Front End Engineer to provide dedicated support for our CCTE Division. This is an ideal opportunity for an entry-level to mid-level developer to grow their skills in front-end web application development and QA testing within a federal project environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform QA testing via test cases
- Develop with Nuxt3, coding primarily to support senior-level staff and EPA Federal teams
- Create documentation for projects and bug fixes received from clients
- Communicate effectively with customers and senior developers to design, plan, and refine large-scale projects
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments, including standups, JIRA boards, and two-week sprints
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of related professional IT experience
- US citizenship is required
- Ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasking workloads with critical deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Superior oral and written communications skills, and a demonstrated ability to maintain a patient and professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical parties
- Ability to manage equipment and services in remote locations
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain an organized workflow with a high degree of attention to detail
- Security clearance: must be able to obtain an EPA Public Trust Level 4

- Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt and React/Next
- Experience working on Federal Sector Contracts
- Professional Certification(s)
- Familiarity with DevOps or ITIL Agile processes
