All Your BI is looking for a BI Consultant who excels at turning intricate business processes into clear data models and actionable insights. In this role, you will be the analytical bridge between business and data, collaborating closely with clients and delivery teams to ensure data solutions reflect real-world operations and enhance decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients to understand their questions, context, and business processes.
- Translate business questions into data analysis deep dives, structuring real-world processes into clear analytical logic.
- Validate data, definitions, and assumptions with clients and developers to ensure shared understanding of KPIs.
- Collaborate with developers and delivery teams as the analytical counterpart, challenging logic early.
- Explain insights and data logic clearly to stakeholders, communicating what the data says and how it should be used.
- Ensure documentation, consistency, and reusability of assumptions, definitions, and edge cases.
- Focus on delivering insights that drive action over simply building dashboards.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner for clients, providing clarity on KPIs, definitions, and data usage.
- Help shape BI roadmaps and guide clients towards more data-driven decision-making.
- Untangle complex business models and IT landscapes into understandable BI solutions.
- Translate client needs to developers and challenge solutions where needed.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience as a data consultant or analyst.
- Strong technical fluency to validate and improve analytical solutions (you are not a data engineer).
- Able to read and write SQL and basic Python to explore data, test assumptions, and validate logic.
- Experience utilizing data models, understanding metric behavior over time, and documenting grain, assumptions, and edge cases.
- Solid experience using Power BI or other reporting tools to build clear, user-friendly insights.
- Flexibility working in agile environments and with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
- An eager, entrepreneurial mindset: initiative, curiosity, and willingness to try new things.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Container Terminal industry or a related background such as logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or other asset-heavy, operational domains.
