CI&T is hiring a Senior/Mid Level Data Developer based in Colombia. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions. This role focuses on developing scalable data pipelines and ensuring data quality and accessibility to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop and maintain data models, warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data assets.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
- Document data architecture, processes, and standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Data Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Expertise in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi, dbt).
- Understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Experience working in agile development teams.
