Evolution is hiring a JavaScript / TypeScript Engineer (React) - Several Openings

We are searching for passionate JavaScript / TypeScript engineers to take an integral part in building cross-platform web applications used by hundreds of thousands. Our technology stack is modern and based on TypeScript, React, Babylon.js, Redux/MobX, HTML Canvas, and Webpack. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop full-fledged games from start to finish, ensuring high-quality performance and maintainability. Work within a cross-functional team consisting of backend developers, frontend developers, and QA engineers, maintaining seamless communication and collaboration. Collaborate closely with 3D designers, UI/UX designers, and Product Delivery Managers. Cover all code with tests using Jest and ensure UI components are documented and tested in Storybook with visual regression testing. Optimize performance and maintain high FPS for visually rich gaming experiences. Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices for front-end development. Requirements: JavaScript and TypeScript: strong proficiency, including ESNext standards and advanced types. Frameworks and Libraries (React or equivalents: Vue, Svelte, Angular): experience in developing multi-page SPA applications. State Management (MobX or equivalents: Redux, Vuex, Pinia): deep understanding of centralized state management and performance optimization. Testing (Jest and React Testing Library or equivalents: Vitest, Mocha, Jasmine): experience with unit and component testing, TDD/BDD. Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree in IT or proven work experience in the field. Passion for Front-End Development: genuine enthusiasm for front-end development and a commitment to continuous technical improvement. Problem-Solving and Communication: excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, ensuring effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. Fluency in English: proficient in both written and spoken English. We will appreciate: Styling and Animations: experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less), modular CSS (CSS Modules, PostCSS), and techniques for managing complex animations and responsive layouts. Tooling and Configuration (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier): experience in setting up build tools, linting, and code formatting. 3D Development (Babylon.js, Three.js): experience with 3D graphics, custom shaders, and performance optimization. Application Architecture: knowledge of design patterns, system modularization, and SOLID Principles. Performance: experience with profiling, GPU acceleration, and resource optimization. Job Description: * First/Second line IT support for company internal users and contractors. * Installing, configuring and troubleshooting user laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices and other office IT equipment * Configuring, administering and updating Windows, MAC, Linux operating systems on user devices. * Managing user device environment using user device management tools. * Creating and managing user accounts in Okta, AD, Azure AD, o365 and other systems. * Physical network related tasks (patching, device installation, ports assignment, cabling). * Server and network equipment installation and maintenance, cable patching in data centers and server rooms. * Keeping inventory of IT purchases and assets - creating/updating inventory records, assigning equipment to users, auditing inventory, performing decommissioning. * Working closely with the facility and security teams to resolve security issues. * Constant development and improvements of local IT infrastructure. * Providing IT assets management according to internal procedures; * Providing service/system operations and regular/ad-hoc maintenance to ensure fulfilment of service availability and security requirements; * Timely incident resolution, escalation to third party suppliers and problem analysis and resolution; * Provisioning system updates and deployments according to respective internal procedures; * User request fulfilment according to established SLAs. * Performing other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position or IT infrastructure. * Logistics, manage inventory and equipment between locations. Qualifications: * Secondary (higher, special etc.) education. * Excellent fluent written and spoken Armenian and English. * Good communication and presentation skills * Ability to create structured documentation * Teamwork skills, ability to take decisions, solve problems independently and in the team and work under high pressure working conditions * Fundamental IT skills – hardware, OS, applications, networking, security. * Experience in deployment and support of Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iOS, Linux operating systems, and business software. * At least 2 year experience in supporting user IT devices hardware and software. * Experience using and managing workstations in heterogeneous environment, remote management services, filesharing, collaboration, e-mail and directory services. * Fundamental knowledge of IT procedures and security principles. * Certifications on IT systems administration/support preferred. * Enterprise employment experience preferred.
