Wipro is looking for a Java Developer to join a team delivering solutions for client CITIBANK/BANAMEX. In this remote role based in Mexico, you will develop and maintain scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional and offshore teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Work closely with offshore teams on task assignments and delivery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Client Partners.
- Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible technical designs.
- Ensure code quality, develop and automate test cases, and facilitate root cause analysis.
- Document solutions thoroughly and provide timely, comprehensive reports.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Java / J2EE, Core Java, and the Spring Framework
- Experience with Angular for frontend development
- Hands-on experience building Microservices with Spring Boot
- Language proficiency: Spanish (Native) and English (Advanced)
Nice to Have
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Oracle DB
- Experience with Linux environments
