Capgemini is hiring a Java Backend Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering practice. You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of critical software solutions and applications.
What You'll Do
- Work within a DevOps framework and apply knowledge of CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment.
- Work as a senior developer focused on Java server-side or full-stack development.
- Apply analytical methods to solve complex software engineering problems.
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Build expertise in software engineering practices and mentor others.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Proven senior-level experience as a Java server-side or full-stack developer.
- Strong development experience using core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience in writing unit tests and ensuring code coverage.
- Database experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
- Operating Systems experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Scripting experience with KSH and Bash shell scripting.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OpenID protocol.
- Experience with JavaScript (React JS) and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of the media domain.

- Compensation range of $65,200 to $169,000.
