Jobgether is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic and fully remote development team. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable applications.
- Integrate cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing code for performance.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and application security guidelines.
- Provide technical insights and documentation to support project development and deployment.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of full-stack development with Angular 8+ is a plus.
