EY is hiring a Java Backend Developer

Join EY's Digital Engineering team as a Java Backend Developer, supporting large-scale clients in the Financial Services and Insurance sector. You will design and implement modern backend solutions using Spring Boot and microservices architecture, contributing directly to digital transformation projects.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality.
• Develop and orchestrate services and microservices.
• Build backend logic and APIs using Java Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Work with Git following branching standards such as git-flow.
• Collaborate with agile teams and contribute to project planning and delivery.
• Stay up to date with backend development best practices.
• Participate in continuous learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with unit testing and code versioning with Git.
• Solid knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SonarQube or other code quality tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and container-based development.
• Experience working in agile environments.
