Atos is looking for a Java Architect with a hybrid profile to act as a key player in the design and launch of new projects. You will contribute your expertise on architectural choices and development best practices while also serving as a technical lead for development teams. This role is based in Metz and is central to our mission of bringing together the best talent and technologies to advance digital transformation.
What You'll Do
- Design and define the technical architecture of Java applications.
- Actively participate in the launch and structuring of new projects.
- Create proofs of concept to validate technological and architectural choices.
- Provide technical support to development teams.
- Guide and mentor developers on complex topics.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and maintainability of developed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and help define technical standards.
- Contribute to technological choices and development best practices.
- Conduct technological watch and promote continuous improvement of practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Solid experience in Java development and application architecture.
- Experience in a Tech Lead or Architect role on complex projects.
- Comfortable guiding teams and sharing expertise.
- Technical leadership, rigor, and a collaborative spirit.
- Strong knowledge of: Java, Java ecosystem frameworks (Spring or equivalent), microservices architectures, APIs, software design, and development/architecture best practices.
