About the Role
This role involves delivering tailored travel solutions to Italian-speaking clients while working remotely from Greece. The consultant will manage end-to-end travel arrangements, ensure excellent customer service, and support booking operations within a global travel services team.
Responsibilities
- Assist Italian-speaking clients with travel planning and itinerary customization
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Provide up-to-date information on destinations, accommodations, and travel regulations
- Coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, tours, and transportation
- Handle changes and cancellations in accordance with policy
- Ensure customer satisfaction through personalized service
- Maintain accurate records of client preferences and bookings
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure optimal travel options
- Monitor travel advisories and communicate updates to clients
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
- Promote travel packages and special offers to clients
- Adhere to company procedures for sales and customer service
- Escalate complex cases to senior team members when needed
- Stay informed about new destinations and travel products
- Support quality assurance initiatives through feedback and reporting
Nice to Have
- Experience using Amadeus or similar GDS platforms
- Prior role in a travel agency or tour operator
- Knowledge of Greek tourism offerings
- Additional language skills beyond Italian and English
- Experience in remote customer support roles
