About the Role
This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical assistance to employees, resolving IT-related problems, and ensuring the stability and security of workplace technology systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
- Support email, network, and cloud-based applications
- Install and configure operating systems and software
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Respond to service tickets in a timely manner
- Document technical solutions and support procedures
- Assist with onboarding new employees
- Troubleshoot connectivity and Wi-Fi problems
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams
- Support video conferencing and meeting room technology
- Apply security patches and system updates
- Enforce endpoint protection policies
- Work with third-party vendors when needed
- Ensure compliance with internal IT standards
- Provide after-hours support on rotation
- Assist with data backup and recovery tasks
- Support remote workers with technical needs
- Evaluate new tools for usability and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records in the ticketing system
