About the Role
This position is responsible for leading the unified management of information and operational technology systems across manufacturing operations, ensuring reliability, security, and alignment with business goals through strategic infrastructure planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT and OT infrastructure across manufacturing sites
- Ensure seamless connectivity between information technology systems and operational technology networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing secure and reliable industrial networks
- Manage lifecycle planning for critical infrastructure hardware and software
- Develop strategies for network scalability and system redundancy
- Implement cybersecurity best practices tailored to industrial control environments
- Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate new production technologies
- Monitor system performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for production systems
- Drive standardization of infrastructure configurations across facilities
- Manage vendor relationships for network and industrial equipment services
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure outages
- Develop documentation and training materials for IT/OT systems
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to assess and mitigate risks
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption in manufacturing environments
- Maintain accurate network topology and asset inventory records
- Support digital transformation initiatives through infrastructure modernization
- Ensure secure remote access solutions for operational systems
- Facilitate change management processes for infrastructure updates
- Provide technical leadership during facility expansions or new line installations
- Optimize data flow between production systems and enterprise platforms
- Promote energy efficiency and sustainability in infrastructure operations
- Ensure alignment of IT/OT strategy with business objectives
