The IT Infrastructure Specialist maintains and supports network, server, and datacenter infrastructure for the company's iGaming services. This role involves working with international teams, providing on-call support, and ensuring adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory standards in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain stable and secure network, server, datacenter, and service infrastructure.
- Support deployment and implementation of critical network infrastructure, products, and services.
- Ensure data integrity and security in alignment with regulatory, privacy, and business requirements.
- Create and update documentation for IT processes and procedures.
- Report directly to the IT Infrastructure Team Leader.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for production support, with appropriate compensation provided.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in IT Support or Infrastructure roles.
- Holding a degree or A-Level qualification in an IT-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2022 and Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, IP addressing, and troubleshooting, with experience managing firewall policies using Juniper, Checkpoint, or Cisco systems.
- Knowledge of load balancing concepts, preferably with practical experience using F5 or HAProxy.
- Familiarity with hypervisors such as VMWare, OpenStack, and Proxmox, along with a cloud-native approach using Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Dell server hardware and a foundational understanding of Storage Area Networks, including Brocade or Broadcom technologies.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of quickly understanding business and user requirements in a dynamic environment.
