What you are going to do As an IT OPS Engineer within the Payments domain, you're not just another team member—you're a critical piece of our mission to continuously deliver high-quality, relevant services to our customers. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, championing the IT OPS mindset and ensuring our critical payment applications remain rock-solid and reliable. Your responsibilities include: • Being a key stakeholder across multiple payment traffic chain teams • Hosting IT OPS Circles and early morning calls • Embedded in major programs and staying razor-sharp on incident landscapes • Coordinating major incidents/disruptions within critical payment application chains and conducting deep-dive trend analyses • Translating complex IT communication into crystal-clear language and proactively improving incident/change processes • Contributing to Root Cause Analysis and defining structural improvements • Quality assurance: keeping IT service administration (CMDB) pristine and spreading the DevOps Engineering gospel You'll collaborate with fellow IT OPS Engineers, providing consultancy across payment traffic teams. You'll dive into major programs enhancing payment services—think IT platform developments and security innovations. During incidents, you'll transform into a Chain Coordinator, bringing teams together and ensuring processes are followed with military precision.
