Goodway Group is looking for an IT Operations Engineer to play a critical role in supporting our technology and people. You will be the frontline for resolving product and technical issues, providing functional support to coworkers, diagnosing and troubleshooting specialized software, and helping administer our technology stack.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with co-workers to analyze and resolve their issues, from significant system crashes to simple user errors.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to identify and resolve bugs discovered by coworkers.
- Liaise daily between our Engineering Department and the rest of the organization.
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues leveraging SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Coordinate across the organization to drive the resolution of large-scale outages.
- Assist in maintaining and prioritizing our work queue and backlog both in tickets and project management systems.
What We're Looking For
- Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of software development and troubleshooting processes.
- Established analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can effectively communicate technical information to audiences of all backgrounds.
- Highly adaptable, can work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and consistently deliver quality results.
- Exceptional prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Can remain cool, calm, and collected to provide excellent customer support during stressful situations.
