Sacred Byte GmbH is looking for an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist responsible for day-to-day IT operations for clients and internal security projects. You'll join a distributed team making enterprise-grade protection accessible through smart administration and open-source solutions.

What You'll Do

Provision and manage users, groups, and licences in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Onboard laptops (Windows/macOS) into MDM and coordinate remote device handovers.
Triage first-line support tickets and escalate complex issues.
Run weekly maintenance checks on patch status, backup logs, and security alerts.
Document fixes and runbooks to make processes repeatable.
Contribute to security projects, including CVE research, laptop hardening scripts, incident-response playbook drafts, and ISO 27001 checklist development.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration.
Proven admin skills in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Comfortable with MDM platforms like Intune or Jamf.
Proficient in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Strong written and spoken English.
Reliable internet and a professional remote setup.
Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously across time zones.

Nice to Have

German language skills.
Microsoft 365 Certified (Administrator Expert or Endpoint Administrator).
Google Workspace Administrator certification.
Exposure to security frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
