The IT Engineer will manage and optimize the company's internal technology ecosystem, serving as the go-to expert for core productivity tools, identity management, and information security. This role supports a dynamic environment with a focus on SaaS platforms, cross-platform end-user support, and improving operational efficiency and security at a mission-driven battery startup.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support tools like Slack, Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other business-critical applications
- Troubleshoot end-user issues across SaaS platforms
- Manage user provisioning and access audits
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks
- Implement and validate cross application integrations
- Evaluate new SaaS tools and assist with onboarding
- Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with network and security engineers to ensure compliance
- Participate in IT projects, rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 1-3+ years in IT support, systems administration, or operations
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration
- Exposure to scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) and automation
- Familiarity with IAM platforms (Okta, Entra ID, Google Identity)
- Experience supporting SaaS tools like Slack, Jira, Confluence, Zoom
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
