Finaira was looking for an IT End User Support

Finaira is seeking an IT End User Support specialist to ensure our end-users have a smooth and productive computing experience. You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance, from initial equipment setup through ongoing support and issue resolution.

What You'll Do

  • Provision, configure, and deploy end-user equipment (laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals) for new hires.
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, including VPN and internet access.
  • Support user access to internal systems and applications, resolving permissions and access-related issues.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain end-user software, operating systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Log, track, and document incidents and service requests in the IT service management system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams as needed.
  • Provide end-user guidance and basic training on company hardware, software, and standard IT practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's degree or equivalent certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT end-user support or help desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware, peripherals, and software installation/configuration.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Familiarity with common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
  • Basic understanding of user account management.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, task prioritization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across functions.
  • Ability to actively listen to customers and accurately understand their needs.
  • Adaptability, learning agility, strong attention to detail, and a receptiveness to feedback.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting users in a corporate setting.
