Medialine EuroTrade AG is hiring an IT Administrator Backup (m/w/d) in Cottbus. You'll be responsible for our backup environment, focusing on user and customer concerns. Your role involves handling requirements, configuring backup systems, monitoring operations, and implementing customer solutions.

What You'll Do

Process requirements in the backup domain, including connecting and configuring various backup systems.
Monitor and ensure the operation of the backup environment.
Perform and coordinate new installations, expansions, maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting within the backup landscape.
Plan and further develop the backup infrastructure, participate in project work, and maintain system documentation.
Conduct fault analysis, including documentation.
Act as a point of contact for questions, evaluating and implementing solution possibilities.
Implement customer solutions in the backup environment, particularly with Veritas and Veeam.

What We're Looking For

Completed university degree in IT or a vocational apprenticeship (e.g., IT-Systemelektroniker, Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) with corresponding professional experience.
Experience in administering and operating IT solutions from manufacturers: VMWare, Dell Server, NetApp-Storage, Veeam-Backup, and Microsoft Server.
Very good German and good English language skills, both spoken and written.
