The Boeing Company is looking for an iOS Software Application Developer to join the advanced development team at Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing company. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain applications that directly enhance the user experience for aerospace solutions, combining Boeing's immense resources with a close-knit team culture.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop user interfaces using SwiftUI for iOS applications.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to define and implement user-centric designs and features tailored for mobile users.
- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance code while adhering to industry best practices in mobile application development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in mobile development, evaluating their potential application within Boeing’s projects.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Lead development, selection, tailoring, and continuous integration and continuous delivery of software.
- Support issue resolution, lead root cause analysis for software issues, and implement process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI.
- 3+ years of experience integrating with backend services like RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Azure DevOps and Git, and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience with Java or JavaScript/ReactJS.
- React Native experience.
- Understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.
- Experience developing Cloud-native applications.
