Whatnot is seeking an iOS Engineer to join the Seller Growth Product team. You will shape the mobile experiences that accelerate seller success, building elegant and performant features that drive real growth. You'll collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver impactful seller tools.

What You'll Do

Develop high-quality iOS features in Swift and SwiftUI that power seller onboarding, education, and incentive experiences.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data partners to define goals, manage scope, and align on priorities.
Leverage data and experimentation to guide product decisions, including designing and analyzing A/B tests.
Contribute across the stack when needed (backend is primarily Python).
Uphold engineering excellence through code reviews, documentation, and thoughtful technical discussions.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience building and shipping iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
Care deeply about product experience and details.
Thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with product, design, and data partners.
Comfortable using A/B testing and data tools (e.g., Snowflake, SQL) to understand user behavior.
Communicate clearly, manage stakeholder expectations effectively, and take ownership from concept to launch.
Passionate about mentorship, sharing knowledge, and helping raise the team’s technical bar.
Must be within commuting distance of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, or New York City hub.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Datadog or similar observability tools for performance monitoring.
Experience building onboarding, education, or incentive-based products.
Curiosity or experience working beyond iOS, collaborating with backend teams or contributing to APIs.
