Beacon Biosignals is looking for an iOS Engineer to join our mobile team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining multiple native iOS applications. You should be passionate about building high-quality mobile apps and have a strong background in iOS development.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborating with other developers to integrate platform-specific features and optimize performance.
- Prepare code for mobile builds and releases on the Apple App Store, while improving tools and processes for automated application build and release.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards, share knowledge, and mentor teammates across our systems.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS features and libraries, applying them to enhance our apps and solve complex challenges.
- Investigate and resolve bugs using tools like Firebase Crashlytics, ensuring our apps remain stable and responsive.
- Participate in book and code clubs to foster continuous learning and growth, working closely with a friendly, supportive development team.
What We're Looking For
- Reside in the United States.
- Eligible to work in the United States (we are currently unable to offer employment to those with H-1B visas).
- Be willing to travel three times each year to connect with the rest of the team.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices.
- Experience shipping and maintaining production applications.
- Comfortable working in existing Objective-C codebases.
