What You'll Do
You'll build iOS applications from concept to App Store release, owning the full development lifecycle. This includes designing application architecture, integrating UI designs, implementing business logic, connecting to APIs, and ensuring robust testing. You’ll work hand-in-hand with product and mobile team members to deliver polished, user-centric mobile experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years building applications on iOS with strong knowledge of the iOS SDK
- Proficient in Swift and experienced with core programming principles such as DRY and SOLID
- Familiarity with version control using Git
- Experience implementing and maintaining clean code architectures, including MVC
- Ability to integrate JSON-based APIs and third-party services
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on precision and quality
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Dedication to refining codebases and delivering polished software
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience publishing apps to the App Store
- Familiarity with advanced architectural patterns like MVVM or VIPER
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth, AVFoundation, Core Data, or Stripe SDK
- Advanced Swift skills, including protocols, generics, and typed function declarations
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, particularly Node.js
- Experience with Firebase and Heroku
- Contributions to open source projects
- Understanding of functional or reactive programming paradigms
- Background in database design and optimization
- Experience tuning app performance and managing memory efficiently
