Responsibilities
- Collecting all payroll data from internal departments, organizing and submitting to the local payroll provider in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reviewing monthly payroll output reports to ensure (variable) data is processed correctly.
- Being the first point of contact and strong sparring partner for our local payroll providers around payroll processes and other payroll related communications.
- Being the go-to person for all payroll related questions for our employees.
- Keeping track of and ensuring compliance regarding all local legislations.
- Working together with external parties (e.g. local lawyers, tax advisors) in case you need any advice on the practice of local labour law or fiscal regulations.
- Preparing and aligning with the Finance team on payroll reporting.
- Working together with the People Operations Team to implement automation, innovation and any continuous improvements around the payroll processing and reporting.
- Moving in Sync with our Finance & Legal team, People Business Partners and Recruitment to optimise employee processes and experience.
Requirements
- Work experience in an HR department of a commercial and international oriented organisation
- 3 years experience in (international) payroll for EU countries
- Ability to identify and mitigate (compliance) risks and act accordingly.
- Ability to oversee and structure complex processes and identify opportunities for improvements/simplifications.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures.
- Proactive, flexible, eager to learn and service oriented.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, accurate and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to adapt quickly and can prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
