HID Global (ASSA ABLOY Group) is looking for an Intern Software Engineer focused on software quality engineering and test automation. You'll join the HID Identity Technologies Lab to help shape Seos technology, diving into advanced testing and automation across the full technology spectrum.
What You'll Do
- Code, test, and innovate instead of performing repetitive tasks.
- Work with cutting-edge technology where your ideas matter from day one.
- Dive into mutation testing, data fuzzing, and stress testing.
- Connect Jenkins with real hardware and automate robots.
- Explore low-level protocol debugging and user experience testing.
- Align and develop a common test framework, common libraries, code coverage tools, and reporting UI frameworks.
- Learn DevOps skills and common frameworks and tools.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in object-oriented programming (C# / .NET / .NET Core).
- Experience with test case architecture, specification, and implementation.
- Interest in test automation (Jenkins, scripting languages).
- Eagerness to learn DevOps skills and common frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of low-level hardware communication protocols.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB certification or other test certification (can be acquired online).
- Experience with Secure Elements, RFID, NFC, HCE or BLE technologies.
- Working knowledge of cryptography and security practices.
