DexCom Inc is hiring an Intern II - AI Engineering to work on designing, developing, and deploying new data products using AI/ML and generative AI technologies. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create and scale AI systems for health applications within the Systems & Solutions R&D function.
What You'll Do
- Drive the design and implementation of AI/ML models, including experimental design, training, evaluation, writing reusable code, and preparing results for broader circulation.
- Deploy applications using generative AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate with other data scientists, architects, and software engineers to deploy and scale AI/ML applications.
- Bring strong programming skills – including in Python, ML ecosystem tools, and generative AI – to the team.
- Display excellent written and verbal communications skills to communicate complex methodologies and analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Strong experience working with Python, ML, and generative AI libraries.
- Possess strong CS fundamentals.
- Experience developing cloud-based solutions.
