About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing the structured integration of new personnel and the orderly departure of outgoing members, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and in accordance with internal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the initiation and completion of onboarding procedures for new team members
- Manage the systematic offboarding of departing personnel
- Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and filed
- Coordinate with department leads to confirm role-specific onboarding tasks
- Verify access permissions are granted or revoked in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date records of personnel status changes
- Support the development of standardized onboarding and offboarding checklists
- Identify and report process inefficiencies to senior management
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new entrants
- Ensure compliance with internal policies during transition phases
- Respond to inquiries from incoming and outgoing personnel
- Collaborate with HR to align processes with organizational standards
- Track progress of onboarding and offboarding timelines
- Assist in gathering feedback to improve transition experiences
- Maintain confidentiality of personnel data throughout processes
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Background in nonprofit or social service organizations
- Familiarity with volunteer management systems
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams
- Knowledge of data protection regulations
