reply3 seeks an Integration Architect/API Architect to advise clients on selecting and deploying integration and API management platforms. You will be responsible for defining end-to-end integration architectures and modernizing legacy systems.
What You'll Do
- Advise clients on selecting and deploying integration and API management platforms (e.g., Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee) and define end-to-end integration architectures (API-first, microservices, cloud-native, event-driven).
- Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous integrations using technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or EventBridge, including A2A automation via lightweight APIs and workflow engines.
- Modernize legacy integrations (SFTP, ETL, monolithic brokers) into scalable, resilient API/event-based solutions, delivering migration approaches and target-state designs.
- Operate and improve platforms in hybrid/cloud environments, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and implementing CI/CD + GitOps, observability, and SLA/SLO standards.
- Establish API governance and best practices, track global API/integration KPIs (usage, performance, adoption, cost), and leverage AI/agentic tools (including MCP) to automate discovery, documentation, testing, and contract validation.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience as an Integration Architect/API Architect.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong expertise in API architectures, integration patterns, and distributed systems, with hands-on proficiency in API management/gateway platforms (e.g., Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure APIM).
- Solid command of modern integration technologies: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, AsyncAPI, and messaging/event platforms (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Proven experience delivering cloud-native integration on AWS, Azure, or GCP, using CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm), Kubernetes, and DevOps/SRE practices to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
Nice to Have
- Experience modernizing legacy integrations toward API/event-driven and A2A automation.
- Exposure to MCP/agentic or AI-assisted integration and Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Stack
- Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee, Kafka, Pub/Sub, EventBridge, REST, GraphQL, gRPC, AsyncAPI, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Azure APIM
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive compensation package.
- Many training and upskilling opportunities.
- Structured career progression.
- A start-up mindset: hands-on experience, flexibility, a dynamic work environment, and free coffee.
- A diverse and stimulating environment surrounded by peers and enthusiasts who share your interest in technology.
- Opportunities to take part in hackathons, coding challenges, and lab camps.
