About the Role

Nine is looking for a Principal Engineer to join the Commercial Products team, managing critical systems for Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, and Presentation. You will design and maintain integration flows with a strong focus on security and mentor other engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using a variety of platforms, APIs, databases, protocols, and data formats.
  • Collaborate and review code with other developers to ensure adherence to technical standards.
  • Maintain a strong focus on security practices.
  • Develop and maintain system integration architecture and documentation.
  • Participate in and facilitate team ceremonies.
  • Work with other engineers to peer review code, problem-solve, advise on best practices, and champion high standards.
  • Mentor engineers in cloud development practices.

What We're Looking For

  • AWS certifications or demonstrable practical experience.
  • Event-driven application design experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Advanced database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience working with WCF services.
  • DevOps principles and practices.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile principles.
  • Sydney-based role requiring 3 days per week on-site at the North Sydney office.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in any or all of the following: Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, GCP.
