Black & Veatch is hiring an Integrated Solution Strategist to provide technical and industry expertise across client engagements. You will lead moderate to highly complex projects, potentially managing medium to large teams, and contribute to the strategic objectives of our service offerings.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the strategic direction and objectives of a service offering.
- Secure commitment and participation from client's senior management by leveraging relationships.
- Deliver client solutions aligned with defined value propositions across multiple business areas.
- Utilize specialized knowledge to produce complex work products and solutions across all engagement phases.
- Manage moderate to highly complex engagements, which may involve multiple business units, other contractors/vendors, high technology integration, or cross-functional teams.
- Supervise the work of others, manage employees on engagements, and provide input for performance management and compensation.
- Contribute to the development of products and/or services.
- Delegate work duties based on development opportunities and contribute to the career development of team members.
- Search for new consulting opportunities with existing or new clients and secure client receivables.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 10+ years experience in a business or consulting environment.
- Experience managing significant client engagements.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background checks, a drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

- 2+ years of Business Development experience.

Team & Environment
You may lead a medium to large size effort or project team and act as a project manager. You may also have management responsibility for the people to whom you provide work direction.
