AnswersNow Inc is seeking an Intake Specialist as an independent contractor to be the first point of contact for all families seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You will be an integral part of our clinical operations team, helping families navigate access to top quality care, onboard them, and answer any questions or concerns.
What You'll Do
- Quickly and effectively field phone calls and emails from interested families and collect necessary information.
- Navigate our CRM to prioritize outreach for inquiring families and re-engagement.
- Check families' insurance eligibility and clearly communicate ABA insurance benefits.
- Connect families with the Clinical team for onboarding and complete the intake workflow, including scheduling initial appointments.
- Obtain initial assessment prior authorizations for ABA services from insurance companies.
- Provide ongoing customer support regarding insurance coverage and telehealth technical support.
- Complete medical record requests, upload, and review diagnostic reports for all onboarding families.
- Complete verification of benefit checks, collect and verify medical records, and submit for prior authorizations.
- Communicate with other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Work with management to stay updated on product knowledge and company policy changes.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Spanish written and verbal communication.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in an intake field.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative ABA Therapy experience.
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Preference for 3+ years of administrative ABA Therapy experience.
- Preference for prior intake experience.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Slides).
