Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing technical leadership and maintaining the plant’s electrical, instrumentation, and process control (PLC) equipment/systems.
- Ensure the stable operation of the plant computer network as the onsite IT contact.
- The position requires independent judgment in determining and implementing process control strategies including changes for process improvement, and process and computer system troubleshooting, and supports daily plant operations.
Requirements
- Associate degree or diploma in Electrical or instrumentation with 2+ years (or equivalent work experience) of electrical, instrumentation and PLC experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Competence and knowledge in electrical devices and process control instrumentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong electrical and electronics background.
- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and loop sheet drawings.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage and direct teams of contractors.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of data acquisition systems.
- Knowledge of windows servers and industrial and business network system.
