MTC Job Corps BU is looking for an Instructor to provide career technical trade instruction and help shape student success. You will deliver approved curricula and offer guidance to students working toward their academic and trade goals, making a direct impact on their future.
What You'll Do
- Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
- Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
- Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve issues affecting student training.
- Develop and prepare lessons per approved curriculum guidelines and recommend changes or supplemental materials.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe training environment.
- Participate in student assessment panels and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS and other systems.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related experience.
- Must be certified, licensed, or accredited by a professional trade organization.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
