Humana Inc. is looking for an Innovation Portfolio Strategy Advisor to join our Behavioral Health portfolio team. You will execute product strategy by translating high-level vision into actionable plans and leading the full product lifecycle for assigned offerings.
What You'll Do
- Execute the product strategy set forward by the Portfolio Director.
- Translate high-level strategic vision into tactics to move from ideation to reality.
- Own multiple products concurrently, ensuring work steps are defined and delivered by the team.
- Identify required resources, remove barriers, and provide guidance to adhere to product timelines.
- Manage stakeholder and customer interface to ensure products meet the ultimate need.
- Guide decisions with data during development and after implementation, sharing outcomes transparently.
- Hire, train, and build a product team that may include direct and non-direct reports.
- Understand the specific vision for each assigned product.
- Collaborate with the portfolio director to define clear steps within the product lifecycle.
- Drive product delivery, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
- Assess product outcomes across financial, operational, quality, and customer satisfaction dimensions.
- Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and drive a positive brand image.
- Communicate with clarity and impact both orally and in writing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Expertise and experience with a product-led model.
- Ability to manage individuals and teams to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.
- Adept at interpreting data and translating it into opportunities.
- Proven organization, planning, and prioritization skills to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders concurrently.
- Communicates with clarity and professionalism across both written and verbal channels.
- Independently driven with a strong urgency of execution.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a mental health field or RN with a background in psychiatric nursing.
- Product certification and/or LEAN or Six Sigma certification.
Team & Environment
You will report to a Behavioral Health portfolio director. You will build and lead teams, which may include direct reports and colleagues from various business units.
