INNIO is hiring a Field Service Engineer—Electrical to deliver expert technical support and resolution for our on-site and remote service operations. In this role, you will be the key technical point of contact, assisting internal technicians, end-customers, and OEMs with advanced troubleshooting, failure analysis, and training for critical electrical systems.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced technical support and resolution to end-customers, focusing on VFDs, generators, signals, controls, and related electrical systems.
- Develop the scope of work to be executed by Field Service Technicians and provide troubleshooting direction.
- Confidently handle escalations and interface with products outside of your core electrical focus.
- Act as the primary interface between the customer and the business.
- Perform all duties in compliance with applicable departmental and divisional quality procedures.
- Identify and immediately report any customer quality or compliance concerns to the organization.
- Leverage the latest technology and tools, such as predictive analytics and myPlant, to identify and execute proactive maintenance.
- Submit detailed reports on inspections, service work, failure analysis, and regional activities.
- Support Root Cause Analyses and site investigations of equipment issues and present findings.
- Take full ownership of service cases, either remotely or on-site, and bring them to final resolution with limited or no supervision.
- Communicate fleet and product issues to engineering, commercial teams, and product line managers to identify new opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a support or maintenance engineering role.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience servicing and troubleshooting internal combustion engines, frac, and/or power generation equipment.
- At least 2 years of field experience in advanced troubleshooting.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.
