Valmet is hiring an Information Security Officer to serve as our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, you will lead our global information security strategy, strengthen our resilience, and ensure our people, systems, operations, and customers stay protected.
What You'll Do
- Lead our global information security strategy and governance.
- Drive cyber risk management, compliance and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with business areas to strengthen OT and product cybersecurity.
- Develop our global security awareness and culture programs.
- Act as a key advisor to the Head of IT and senior leadership teams.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Engineering or a similar field.
- CCISO or equivalent certification.
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership responsibilities in a global environment.
- Strong hands‑on experience in risk management, operational security and security governance.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders confidently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with industrial/OT security.
Team & Environment
You will lead a CISO office and steer the work of cyber security experts in the IT organization and business areas, reporting to the Head of IT.
