Moog is looking for an Industrial Engineer to support its Space and Defense Group. In this role, you will analyze manufacturing costs, identify efficiency improvements, and contribute to capacity planning within a highly collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do
- Work with and maintain confidential information.
- Perform cost analysis of manufacturing data.
- Aid in cycle time updates.
- Support new opportunities for cost reduction and production efficiency.
- Maintain best practices with a focus on analysis of actual vs. budget hours.
- Recommend general operating practices to improve efficiencies and participate on cross-functional teams.
- Use understanding of manufacturing business processes to support capacity planning.
- Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a Mechanical Engineering degree with relative work experience to an Industrial Engineering role.
- Personal computer experience and working knowledge of database infrastructure and enterprise information systems software.
- Experience with statistical and continuous improvement tools, cost improvements, removing bottlenecks, and root-cause analysis.
- Skills in interacting and communicating at all organizational levels.
- Analytical and project management skills.
- Experience pulling data queries and performing analysis in Microsoft Excel.
