Hunt St is looking for an Implementation Consultant to lead the hands-on configuration and deployment of our platform for insurance industry clients. In this customer-facing role, you will translate client requirements into functional solutions, manage project delivery, and act as a key technical liaison.
What You'll Do
- Elicit and critically evaluate customer requirements using a range of tools and techniques.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and configure the platform, including data models, document templates, and user interfaces.
- Utilize scripting within the platform to implement business rules and financial calculations.
- Design and implement insurance product and claims data models.
- Prepare testing documentation, perform system testing, and support customer testing.
- Analyze data conversion requirements and define transformation mappings.
- Act as the primary customer liaison, managing enquiries and representing the company on-site as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third parties for successful project delivery.
- Manage project scope, plans, costs, and risks, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain all project documentation, including change requests and risk registers.
- Collaborate with the development team to spec and design new platform features.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to other Implementation Consultants.
- Support and contribute to the company's best practices and comply with information security policies.
What We're Looking For
- A thorough understanding of the full software development project lifecycle.
- Proven experience in a business analyst or technical business analyst role.
- Experience creating business requirements, process maps, and technical specifications.
- Commercial experience working in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with and configuring large and/or complex software packages.
- An understanding of relational databases.
- Proven stakeholder management and strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience in having difficult conversations with stakeholders.
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- A company-first approach and experience contributing outside your immediate role.
- Degree qualified or equivalent commercial experience.
- Configuration, scripting, and logic experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in general insurance relating to policy and/or claims functions.
Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly compensation: $1,500 - $2,500 AUD/month.
Work Mode
This is a global, remote position open to candidates based in the Philippines.
