About the Role
The IAM Engineer will be responsible for building and managing secure access solutions, supporting identity lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with security policies across internal systems and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy identity and access management architectures
- Integrate IAM solutions with cloud platforms and enterprise applications
- Manage user authentication protocols and multi-factor authentication systems
- Support identity federation and single sign-on implementations
- Maintain role-based and attribute-based access controls
- Monitor and audit access logs for security compliance
- Troubleshoot identity-related issues across systems
- Automate provisioning and deprovisioning workflows
- Enforce least privilege principles in access design
- Collaborate with security teams on threat mitigation
- Implement password management and credential rotation policies
- Maintain documentation for IAM configurations and processes
- Support compliance audits and security certifications
- Evaluate and integrate third-party IAM tools
- Ensure scalability and high availability of IAM services
- Participate in incident response related to access breaches
- Stay current with IAM standards and emerging threats
- Optimize user lifecycle management processes
- Work with directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory
- Support secure API authentication and authorization
Nice to Have
- Professional certification in cybersecurity or IAM (e.g., CISSP, Certified Identity and Access Manager)
- Experience with large-scale enterprise IAM deployments
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Hands-on experience with SSO and identity federation
- Familiarity with privileged access management solutions
- Background in DevSecOps or security automation
- Experience in fintech or cryptocurrency environments
