About the Role

The Hershey Company is seeking a Sr HR Analyst, Compensation to join our Global Total Rewards team. In this critical role, you will be accountable for translating compensation data into actionable insights, supporting the business on compensation-related requests, and ensuring data integrity across our systems.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand needs, evaluate and benchmark roles, and support offer and award development.
  • Continuously audit data to maintain integrity and make recommendations based on analyses.
  • Review and maintain job codes and titles in the SuccessFactors system for consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends and insights that influence business decisions.
  • Support job mapping projects, identifying areas of concern and explaining mapping decisions and FLSA implications.
  • Review job descriptions to assess appropriate market benchmarks and determine pay level.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to understand implications for Hershey’s compensation levels and practices.
  • Support data integrity and maintenance within our Compensation tool, PayFactors.
  • Support project work, such as reorganizations and process redesigns, through data analysis and research.
  • Support compensation year-end program activities, including data audits, cost exercises, and updates to program materials.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Compensation or a related field with proven analytical and computer software capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market trends, data analysis techniques, and relevant regulations (e.g., Fair Labor Standards Act, Minimum Wage).
  • Ability to apply job evaluation techniques such as market pricing and classification.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, problem-solve, and research complex questions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in other Microsoft applications, SuccessFactors, and SAP.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability in analysis and decision making: systematically gathering information, identifying data implications, drawing conclusions, and evaluating alternatives.
  • Skill in managing multiple priorities: setting priorities, planning, and coordinating work to maximize productivity.
  • Strong interpersonal relations: establishing constructive relationships built on trust and using diplomacy in high-tension situations.
  • High dependability with strong attention to detail, taking ownership to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Knowledge of US compensation regulations and laws to ensure company compliance.

Nice to Have

  • Progress towards or attainment of a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred.
