About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Hostess to join our team as a Food & Beverage and Event Service Expert. You will be responsible for building memorable and unique guest experiences through skilled service across a wide range of event functions, taking initiative to ensure guests are well taken care of from start to finish.

What You'll Do

  • Set tables and event materials.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen.
  • Interact with and serve guests.
  • Clean work areas and supplies.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

You will report to Supervisors and collaborate closely with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

This is an onsite position.
