Digital Trendteam is hiring a Software Engineering Lead Analyst to join the Sales, Underwriting, and Pricing technology team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex applications, working directly with business partners to translate requirements into high-quality software within an Agile framework.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain complex applications for the sales and quoting process.
- Work in an Agile environment with bi-weekly sprints, providing updates in daily Scrum calls and demonstrating work to stakeholders.
- Partner with business areas to define requirements and translate them into working software.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solutions.
- Recommend changes to the existing software environment based on current business needs.
- Collaborate with matrix partners and team members to ensure applications meet user requirements and are designed for efficiency and maintainability.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage in problem-solving.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Execute code builds and deployments, supporting monthly and quarterly production releases.
- Support the Quality Engineering team in developing test automation suites.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of diverse IT experience, with a minimum of three years in application development.
- Strong experience with .Net, Python, and REST services.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Agile/SAFe software development life cycle methodology.
- Working experience with Jira.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of GIT repository, CI/CD, and Splunk.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies like OpenShift and AWS.
- Knowledge of Boomi and salesforce.com tools.
- Healthcare industry experience, particularly with health insurance policy, products, and benefits.
