Destiny Christian Academy (DCA) is looking for a High School Math Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating student learning, managing the classroom environment, and supporting the holistic development of students within our Christian community.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate student learning in high school mathematics.
- Plan, teach, and evaluate lessons and student activities.
- Evaluate and reflect on student progress.
- Manage grading and maintain the gradebook.
- Conduct report card evaluations and required parent conferences.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-service days.
- Counsel students and monitor behavior as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized classroom.
- Cover supervision duties and perform additional tasks as assigned, including substituting.
What We're Looking For
- A commitment to the Christian mission and values of Destiny Christian Academy.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- An ACSI teaching credential if a state credential is not valid. If the candidate hasn't completed either credential, they must be willing to complete the ACSI credential during employment.
Nice to Have
- Prior teaching experience.
- A Master’s degree.
- A state teaching credential.
