Virtua Health is hiring a Healthy Neighbor Program, Intern, Per Diem, Temporary

About the Role

Virtua Health is offering a temporary, per diem internship within its Healthy Neighbor Program, part of our expanding community outreach. This is a practical learning experience designed to provide insight into health system operations. You will assist in projects and operational duties aligned with your learning goals and the needs of an administrative sponsor. The position concludes on June 30, 2026.

What You'll Do

  • Take direction from an administrative sponsor to perform internship duties.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner while exhibiting Virtua's STAR qualities.
  • Convey a positive attitude and remain self-motivated.
  • Shadow a Virtua employee as directed by your administrative sponsor.
  • Complete and present a final report prior to the conclusion of the internship.

What We're Looking For

  • You must provide a resume and statement of objective/learning goals before the internship starts.
  • You can be a currently matriculating high school, undergraduate, or graduate student, or a recent graduate (less than one year out of school).

Team & Environment

The intern will take direction from an administrative sponsor.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $17.97 - $25.20 per hour.
  • Eligibility for benefits is governed by applicable plan documents and policies.
