NBBJ is seeking a Healthcare and Workplace Strategy Intern to join our collaborative, purpose-driven teams. You will gain experience as an integral part of multi-disciplinary project teams, working with planners and urban designers to create healthy places and strong communities.
What You'll Do
- Contribute actively to the design process as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Participate in learning opportunities such as site tours, studio critiques, and office-wide lectures.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an accredited, U.S.-based higher education program and planning to return to school in the Fall.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, inquisitive, and passionate about design.
- Collaborative, team-oriented with integrated design and leadership capabilities.
- Comfortable participating in an open design discourse in a collaborative environment.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Have an aptitude for digital software including: MS Office, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and GIS.
- Maker spirit for experimenting between manual and digital techniques for representation and fabrication.
- Strong digital model computing demonstrating high craft.
- Ability to submit a cover letter responding to a prompt about design's critical role in our future.
- Ability to submit a portfolio or work sample (max 10mb, 3-4 best works showing process and final imagery).
