Sully.ai is hiring a Head of Design to own the end-to-end product experience for our Scribe Agent. This AI-powered clinical documentation assistant transforms physician-patient conversations into structured medical notes in real-time. You will translate complex AI-driven workflows into intuitive interfaces that bridge usability, accuracy, and emotion.
What You'll Do
- Own design strategy, UX architecture, and visual identity for Scribe across web, iOS, and Chrome extension.
- Lead the full design lifecycle for note generation, editing, and EHR integration workflows.
- Build and mentor a small, world-class design team spanning product, UX research, and brand.
- Translate physician feedback into elegant design systems that improve note accuracy and reduce editing time.
- Define scalable design systems and component libraries for consistent cross-platform experiences.
- Drive continuous user research and testing with physicians to validate and refine the experience.
- Roll out note template customization with a user feedback loop.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in product or UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience designing complex AI or data-heavy workflows.
- Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and information hierarchy.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and product counterparts.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality UX for technical or clinical applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for healthcare tools or EHR-integrated systems (e.g., Epic, Athena).
- Familiarity with HIPAA, clinical documentation standards, and regulatory UX constraints.
- Background in conversational interfaces, voice UX, or AI copilots.
